HERITAGE
Borbonese is a historical Made-in-Italy company. It was founded in 1910 in Turin as a brand of bags, jewelry and accessories and quickly became one of the leading names of Italian luxury with products that embody both class and elegance.
THE ICONIC PATRIDGE’S EYE MOTIF
An identifying element of all Borbonese collections is the bird’s eye motif, called OP or ‘Occhio di Pernice’ in Italian, a symbol and trademark of the brand. Created in the 1970s, this micro-spotted pattern arose from the processing of lambskin. Still today, it’s emblematic of the brand – along with a few other identifying elements (such as the flathead screw).
