We’re family, and we want to be family through and through, embracing initiatives that are aligned with our values and dedicating ourselves to social causes.
For us, family isn’t just the people who live within the walls of a house; instead, family is about communities near and far.
Tessitura Randi 1931 has set out on a path of social responsibility and commitment to express its founding values.
This is why we decided to support three different causes: Fondazione Umberto Veronesi’s Gold for Kids, a project dedicated to fighting all types of childhood cancer; Made in Carcere, the “brand of second chances;” and Emergency.
Each one is a step towards the construction of a society that’s fair, responsible and proactive, as well as mindful of environmental sustainability.
FONDAZIONE UMBERTO VERONESI
We support the valuable work of Fondazione Umberto Veronesi, specifically the Gold for Kids project to fight childhood and adolescent cancer, by donating a portion of the proceeds from our Christmas collection.
Fondazione Umberto Veronesi was founded to support advanced scientific research by providing funding for qualified, deserving physicians and researchers working in the field of cancer treatment and prevention. At the same time, the foundation is committed to promoting health education campaigns and healthy lifestyles.
By purchasing garments from our Christmas collection, you will join us in supporting scientific research into childhood cancer, bringing added hope to sick children and their families.
“To support research is to support life”.
MADE IN CARCERE
Tessitura Randi participates actively in the Made in Carcere project, the “brand of second chances,” founded and supported by Luciana Delle Donne.
We donate a portion of our high-quality professional textiles to incarcerated communities so that they can be skillfully transformed into unique pieces.
Made in Carcere offers ethical and sustainable manufactured goods, promoting a fair business model based on the principles of regeneration and awareness of marginalized members of society while reducing environmental impact and increasing social inclusion.
The materials are given new life, as are the hands of those who transform them into something wonderful.
“A beautiful story to tell, made of love and dignity”.
Every year, Tessitura Randi supports the valiant work of Emergency.
During the month of December, the organization opens its Christmas Spaces: pop-up shops in 20 Italian cities that raise funds to support the association’s activities in Italy and around the world.
Emergency is a neutral, independent Italian association. It was established in 1994 to provide free, high-quality medical and surgical care to victims of war, land mines and poverty.
Emergency works to promote peace, solidarity and respect for human rights, values that we at Tessitura Randi also share.
